Stinger Section - Rigid

You can model this type of stinger section, by setting the topmost drop-down box, Section Type, to Rigid.

If you are defining a rigid stinger section, then the Properties dialog contains five entries, as shown in the figure below. The Length entry is mandatory while the remaining entries are optional, and are appropriate only for a stinger section to be used on an Articulated S-Lay stinger.
