Overview
The Spring component may be used to model the presence of piles or anchors. It is typically coupled with a fixed constraint, in order to simulate a seabed restraint incorporating some degree of flexibility. The Spring component is referenced by the Line component. The spring is characterised solely by a linear stiffness value, which can be specified in the Spring Properties dialog, by clicking the Properties button.
