Plotting Module - Page Settings

Previous page Next page

This article describes the settings that control the appearance of plot pages. These settings are accessed from the Page menu, which is shown below.

Next, Previous, First and Last Page

The first four commands on the menu allow you to navigate through all the pages currently loaded by the Plotting module. They simply display the next, previous, first and last page loaded. The Next Page command is naturally disabled if you are already at the last page, and the Previous Page command is likewise disabled if you are already at the first page.

Edit Title Block

The Edit Title Block command displays the dialog box shown below. Using the Edit Title Block dialog, you can change the information displayed in the title block at the bottom of the page. The only sections of the title block that you cannot edit are the name of the organisation in the Licensed To section, and the name and version of the software which generated the plot file.

Show Title Block

The Show Title Block menu option toggles the display of the title block on or off. This is useful for situations when a title block is not required, for example when copying a plot into a presentation where a title is present already.

Enable Data Tracking

This menu item toggles on or off the Data Tracking facility. When Data Tracking is enabled and the cursor is positioned within a graph, the current X and Y coordinates of the cursor relative to the graph are displayed in the status bar. The status bar also displays a message saying “DATA TRACKING ON” if the facility is enabled.
