Defining a Vessel Offset

Vessel Offset components are used to describe the displacement of a vessel from its current position. To model the abandonment process, the vessel in the model will be moved progressively along its surge axis in 50m increments.

To create the Vessel Offset, right-click the Vessel folder and select New > Vessel > Vessel Offset. Rename it 50m Surge Offset. Press the Properties and enter the values outlined in Example 3 and shown in the figure below. Press OK to confirm and close the dialog.
