•Multi pass criteria analysis ensuring optimisation is done on an incremental and stable basis – An option is provided to perform a two pass criteria analysis. The first pass is performed with linear materials while the second is performed after non-linear material properties have been applied. This approach offers a more robust solution as the majority of criteria adjustments are performed with the more stable linear materials prior to the inclusion of non-linear materials.
•Option to use a linear axial stiffness when specifying non-linear stress strain material curves – Using a linear stiffness simplifies the analysis solution and so improves convergence. Most installation scenarios only undergo linear axial deformation anyways as most of the strain is driven by bending and so the use of a simple linear axial stiffness is worth consideration.
