Technical Note 8 - Calculation of Support Fine Tune Offsets

Overview

There is an option available in PipeLay to allow the software to automatically fine tune the elevations of the supports in order to achieve user specified pipe radii of curvature. This technical note discusses the methods adopted by both the user interface and analysis engine when calculating the fine tune offset for the supports.
